Thanks for the kind words, but I don’t get the logic of the possible here. You say we can’t elect a president — even a president focused on the one issue that 90% of Americans say they care about — but we can get 38 states to amend the constitution? I am a Wolf-PAC supporter, and have flung myself across the country for them to try to convince state legislatures to propose an Article 5 convention. But we’re up to 5 (I think). We need 34. Then we need a convention to propose an amendment. And then we need 38 states to ratify it. And even then we won’t have the one change we need most of all — public funding of public elections.
So why is the constitutional change possible, but the rallying behind a referendum president not?
