Obviously I strongly support RCVA or other similar changes. But they can’t be done alone. If we radically increase aggregate competitiveness without changing how campaigns are funded, we don’t fix anything. I don’t mind that the money supports any particular commercial sector. The threat to our democracy comes not from whom we subsidize but from how candidates raise money.
